Tran

José Luis Beltrán Coscojuelas (1931–2013) was a multifaceted Spanish comic artist, painter,caricaturist, illustrator, and animator. He used various pseudonyms, such as Beltrán and Koski, although the best known was Tran.
He began his career at the magazine Tío Vivo, published by Editorial Bruguera, and at the animation studio Estudios Macián. In the 1970s, in the magazine Mortadelo, he popularized his characters Constancio Plurilópez and Tete Gutapercha. He also created the character Purita for the magazine Esther. In the magazine Jauja, he published the series Gómez and Gómez.
He worked for the German and Danish markets with series such as Klein y Hasi and Josephine.
He also devoted himself to painting and held exhibitions of his work under Neoformismo
