It’s the way I’ve always drawn, the result of everything I read when I was young, and Jan has been one of my main influences. Ever since I was a kid, the first things I read were Bruguera comics; later, superhero stories, and then manga. But above all, I was shaped by caricature-style artwork, Franquin, Peyo, Ibáñez… From Bruguera, the one I liked the most was always Jan, because of that voluminous way of drawing, breaking out of the panel,something you didn’t often see in other artists.” Nacho
