Cera and Ramis were (and still are) two young and highly talented illustrators who created the Xunguis in the 1990s: activity books starring a group of mischievous aliens who would pop up in any era, place, or situation, spreading hundreds of small, amusing bits of chaos around them for those who knew how to look closely.
The Xunguis books are packed with richly detailed illustrations. The drawings were made on large 36 × 55 cm sheets, and in the early editions, color was applied traditionally, without the use of computers.
At Origin of Comics, you can find some of these large-format originals, intricate and painstakingly crafted the old-fashioned way: by hand.
