If there’s a sword and sorcery character as popular as Conan the Barbarian, it’s undoubtedly Red Sonja, created by writer Roy Thomas and initially drawn in 1973 by Barry Windsor-Smith for Marvel Studios. Red Sonja was partially based on the character by novelist Robert E. Howard, also creator of the aforementioned Conan the Barbarian.
A feisty redhead dressed in a skimpy steel bikini and very skilled with a sword, she has had her own comic book series and has appeared in various series featuring other characters.
Few comic book authors have resisted drawing her on occasion. Artist Cera presents this version of the warrior with a bit more. An original drawing you can take home!
