Pedro García Lorente (1920–1992) was a comic artist specializing in children’s and youth stories for publishers such as Cliper and Bruguera.
His more satirical side emerged in the 1950s in magazines like Tururut!, and, once censorship was lifted, in adult publications such as Mata Ratos, Barrabás, and El Papus.
He created numerous series for magazines including El Coyote, Florita, Yumbo, Pulgarcito, and Mortadelo. He was also a regular contributor to the legendary TBO and excelled as a caricaturist. The author published in the Swiss children’s magazine Pip.
