Jordi Longaron (1933-2019) His first work in comics appeared in youth magazines in Spain during the 1950s, but he soon shifted his production to the British market, particularly in the field of cover illustration. During the 1970s he spent four years drawing the newspaper strip Friday Foster, written by Jim Lawrence, becoming the first Spanish artist to draw a syndicated American series.
In the 1980s he published in legendary magazines such as Cimoc, Blue Jeans and Bumerang, and continued creating covers for comics, novels and books both in Spain and abroad. At the same time, he developed his work as a painter, exhibiting in various venues.
