Vicente Roso was a painter, illustrator, and comic artist. He published comics and cover illustrations for numerous publishers. He drew comic series such as El Coyote and MacLarry , but the stories that brought him the greatest popularity were those featuring the young girl Florita, published, due to their success, in the magazine of the same name starting in 1949.
In the 1950s he devoted himself mainly to illustration, creating covers for comics, novels, books, and advertising, both for Spain and for countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, and Norway through the agency Creaciones Editoriales. Around 1965, working with the publisher Busquets, he specialized in illustrations for Christmas postcards.
In the 1980s he focused primarily on painting and held several exhibitions.
