Carles Prunés
Prunés (1937 -2017) was a great comic book artist in the romance, crime, and war genres, especially for the British market during the 1960s. He was also one of the first authors to be published in the United States by Warren Publishing, a publisher specialized in horror comics.
He worked with the agency Selecciones Ilustradas, primarily on romantic comics aimed at the British market, which appeared in various magazines. Some of these comics were also eventually published in Spain.
In Germany, he published horror comics as well as sword and sorcery stories. In the 1970s, he transitioned to the field of illustration, where he stood out by creating covers for comics, novels, short stories, and other formats.
In his later years, he combined the art of illustration with painting, in which he also excelled.
