At the end of the 80s, new cartoonists appeared who fed the humor magazines of Ediciones B with their art. Joaquín Cera was one of them. His creation Pafman brought good humor to these publications.
The two full pages of “El atracador” already show that characteristic style and are among the first that Cera drew.
Now in the February 2025 promotion period, the documentary Generación B: los últimos cómics de Bruguera (DVD in spanish) is included with the 2 original pages. “El atracador”
This documentary pays tribute to the third generation of cartoonists and scriptwriters of the so-called “Bruguera School” (Jaume Rovira, the Fresno brothers, Miguel Francisco, Joan March, Juan Manuel Muñoz, Jesús de Cos, Nicolas, Andreu Martín, Ramón Casanyes, “Efepe” etc.). A documentary that recalls the reasons why the famous publishing house Bruguera had to close in 1986 and how it was transferred to the new publishing group “Ediciones B”, where some of these artists were welcomed and where a new generation of such outstanding artist as Maikel, Joaquín Cera, Marco, Juan Carlos Ramis or “Esege” began to work.
A very complete documentary with interviews with the cartoonists involved. This documentary DVD includes an exclusive 32-page booklet (in spanish)
